We are an affiliate of a national non-profit organization, Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC), headquartered in Jenison, MI. Comments

It is our policy to not allow comments on our website. If, for some reason, the ability to leave a comment is available be aware that when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Forms

Our site uses fillable forms to collect personal data such as your name, address, phone number, email address, etc. This information is used solely for the purposes of contacting you to fulfill the purpose of the form you filled out (adding to the prayer email list, getting assistance, volunteering, etc.). At any time you may request to be removed from our contact list by calling or emailing us.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics

Who we share your data with

We do not share your information with third parties unless it is required to provide our services to you. This may include sharing some of your personal data with staff members, community volunteers, and partner churches so that we can provide any services you have requested.

We use MailChimp to manage our email newsletter list. If you sign up to be on the list your data (name & email) will be shared with MailChimp. You can view the MailChimp privacy policy at https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

We use PayPal to process online donations. When you donate via the website you are redirected to the PayPal website where your personal information (payment information, name, address, email, phone) is collected to allow the payment to process. How long we retain your data

We maintain a copy of your information for as long as you use our services. Analytics data is kept for 1 year. Paper files with your contact information for volunteering and/or receiving services through Love INC may be kept on file indefinitely. 

What rights you have over your data

If you have volunteered with us or used our services, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

Data collected from the website is stored in our password protected client management software and/or our email management system. Only trained staff members and volunteers are allowed to access these records for the sole purpose of carrying out our mission.
